Position: Trainer / Assessor for RII50520 Diploma and RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design
Location: Perth
Employment Type: Part-Time 22 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lectures and training sessions for the Civil Construction Design course.
Develop and update course materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
Provide academic support and guidance to students, including mentoring and advising.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure course content is relevant and up-to-date.
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and other college activities.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment or higher or willing to obtain these qualifications.
At least 3 years of industry experience in construction or a related area. Overseas experience also acceptable.
Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Knowledge about softwares like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUP, Civil3D.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
