The Rug Est is seeking an enthusiastic team player with experience in sales, interior design, and client relationship management to join our team. This full time role focuses on growing our retail and trade revenue while consulting in beautiful spaces with some of Australia's most creative interior designers and architects.

Duties & responsibilities

Seek out new clients & business opportunities

Relationship building & follow up with clients on projects

Showcase and make sales of handcrafted luxury rugs to high-end retail & wholesale customers, including interior designers and architects

Assist in the design of custom rugs with clients (wholesale and retail)

Preparation of quotes

Work from our gallery style showroom & make visits to clients’ homes and commercial premises

Visual merchandising duties

Experience & requirements:

Account Management experience – 3 years minimum

Physical fitness – you must have the ability to lift, move and flip rugs

Availability to work a rotating roster including Saturdays

Full rights to work in Australia

Strong computer skills

Interior Design or Property Styling experience highly regarded

Sales Experience highly regarded

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Current driver’s licence

A company-paid medical will be conducted prior to commencement
