The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Person and Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is crucial in expanding our market presence within the short-term rental sector, specifically focusing on pop-up sales and brand activations. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
Identify and target prospective clients in the retail, marketing, and events industries who could benefit from short-term pop-up and brand activation spaces.
Manage Website enquiries
Utilise and manage our CRM system
Proactively generate leads through various channels, including networking, industry events, online research, and cold outreach.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Conduct compelling presentations and demonstrations of the Spacenow platform and its benefits to potential clients.
Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for both Spacenow and the client.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
Understand client needs and objectives to recommend suitable spaces and solutions.
Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
Collaborate with the operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless client experiences and successful activations.
Market Insight & Strategy
Gather feedback from clients to inform product development and service improvements.
Contribute to the strategic planning for market expansion and business growth in the pop-up and brand activation sector.
Analyze sales data and market trends to provide actionable insights and optimize sales efforts.
Requirements
Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within the real estate, events, or marketing industries.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of short-term rentals, pop-up concepts, and brand activations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A strong network within the retail, marketing, or events industry is highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
