The Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Construction Cadet to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while working on diverse, high-quality projects across Sydney. As a Construction Cadet, you will work closely with the director, learning the ins and outs of building, site supervision, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in project planning, coordination, and execution for renovations, new builds, duplexes, townhouses, and multi-unit dwellings

Support site supervisors with day-to-day operations, including quality control and safety compliance

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and provide updates

Learn and apply modern construction techniques and industry best practices

Assist with documentation, including project reports, schedules, and budgets

Support in delivery on site

What We’re Looking For

A passion for construction and a desire to build a career in the industry

Current enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant qualification (Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction, or equivalent)

Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Basic understanding of construction processes and safety regulations

Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transport
