This leading Australian export business, backed by a global parent company, is seeking a commercially astute Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join their high-performing finance team in Geelong. Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Manager ANZ, you will play a pivotal role in delivering financial insights and supporting business performance across multiple functions. This is a broad and hands-on FP&A role with exposure to senior stakeholders both locally and internationally.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ownership of sales plan reviews across actuals, budgets, forecasts, and long-term planning.
  
• Margin analysis by customer, crop, and month
  
• Development and presentation of financial modelling
  
• Scenario modelling and profitability analysis across business units
  
• Variance analysis with clear commentary and stakeholder engagement
  
• Support for commercial pricing decisions and contract claims
  
• Month-end reporting, inventory reconciliations, and fixed asset management
  
• KPI monitoring and trend analysis across key P&L lines
  
• Budgeting and forecasting collaboration with operational teams
  
• Strategic support for investment cases and market trend analysis
  
• Continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
  

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded)
  
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  
• Advanced Excel and experience with SAP, Hyperion, and other financial systems
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  
• Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  
• Experience in the export, agribusiness, or manufacturing sectors will be advantageous.
