The Role: Planning Assistant
Reporting to the Planning Manager, this is a critical support role for our Planning Team. You’ll be the go-to person for accurate stock forecasting, data insights, and communication across our sales, marketing, and production teams. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the right products land at the right time – every time. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract position.
What You’ll Be Doing
· • Manage stock forecasting and purchase orders using NetStock
· • Collaborate with sales and marketing to understand product demand
· • Support new product launches with accurate forecast updates
· • Track and report on back orders, sea freight priorities, and fabric availability
· • Monitor fabric orders with suppliers and manage minimum order quantities
· • Analyse client sales trends and stockholding levels to support service delivery
· • Maintain SKU-level data and inventory attributes in NetSuite and NetStock
· • Create and deliver insightful reporting on product performance
· • Support the planning team and provide cross-functional coverage when needed
Who You Are
· • Analytical thinker with attention to detail and accuracy
· • Excel whiz with the ability to interpret and present data clearly
· • Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving business
· • Team player with strong communication and relationship-building skills
· • Highly organised and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks with ease
· • Experience in planning, inventory, or fashion/retail industry is a plus
· • Familiarity with NetSuite or NetStock is great – otherwise, bring your curiosity!
