Aldebaran Contracting is a civil contracting company with experience as a provider of civil construction services to the NT Government, Local Governments and the private sector throughout the Northern Territory.

The position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and a range of general clerical, accounting, and bookkeeping functions for the organisation

The role is based at Manton, approximately 60 km south of Darwin, and will require the successful applicant to have their own vehicle for travel to and from the workplace.

Applicants must meet the following essential criteria:

Understanding and previous experience with accounts payable and receivable functions

Demonstrated experience with MYOB or similar accounting package, including payroll function

Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Suite

Proven effective organisational and time management skills

Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, literacy and numeracy skills

Demonstrated ability to work within a team

Demonstrated ability to keep accurate records

Demonstrated ability to attend to detail with a high level of accuracy
