A rare opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic self-starter seeking a Maintenance / Handy Man role in a large corporate owned Southport Highrise – H2o Broadwater

RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend to general maintenance issues in resident’s apartments.

Attend to general maintenance issues in common building areas.

Preventative maintenance schedules updating.

Accompany building contractors for scheduled maintenance.

Gardening and general landscaping as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Plumbing experience will be an advantage.

Experience in building maintenance highly desirable.

Physically fit.

Current drivers’ license and forklift ticket desirable.

Small machinery operation and basic landscaping skills.

Trade qualifications of any discipline highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Knowledge and application of safe working practices.

Ability to work autonomously with a can-do attitude.

This is a hands-on permanent fulltime position.
