Eagers Automotive’s Brisbane hub located in Newstead, has a role available for a Maintenance Officer, Building Maintenance and Handyperson to come join our team.

This is a hands-on role offering variety, flexibility, and the chance to work closely with residents and a supportive team.

Tasks & responsibilities

Responsible for a range of general repairs and building maintenance tasks, including, painting, plastering, minor tiling, basic plumbing, making safe, minor carpentry.

Pressure cleaning, blower use, disposal of rubbish, and may require some garden and outdoor area maintenance.

Liaise with external contractors as required.

Identifying repair and maintenance tasks in need of attention.

Provide event support through setup and pack away as well as during event support.

Order supplies as required.

Undertake routine preventative and respond promptly to reactive maintenance as required.

A focus on WH&S whilst conducting all activities.

Professional and polite customer service.

Communicating the progress and completion of tasks with all stakeholders.

About you:

Previous experience in a similar maintenance role.

Trade qualification advantageous but not essential.

Current driver’s license.

Own basic hand tools (power tools provided).

Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with can do attitude.

Friendly, approachable and solutions focused.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
