Senior Graphic Designer

The Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council is a Perth based Regional Local Government providing services in waste management, resource recovery, and sustainability initiatives.

Part time position, up to 24 hours per week, 12 month contract

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy. Experience in both print and digital design, including reports, signage, social media, and web graphics

Local Government organisation

Up to 17% superannuation (salary sacrifice conditions apply) and 17.5% leave loading applied on all annual leave taken

Up to $85,126 pro rata to 24 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our Team at the EMRC. You would be responsible for providing support to our Chief Transformation Officer and Communications Coordinator, by assisting with the design, creation and uploading of content for EMRC's various media channels. While producing marketing collateral within brand guidelines, this role still maintains plenty of scope to indulge your creative skills. Your proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop will see you able to elevate EMRC's branding to higher standards.

You will be working alongside an experienced Communications Coordinator who is familiar with the EMRC and its Clients, and become an integral part of the Communications Team. Operating from our administration office in Ascot, you would be joining a progressive organisation with a great culture and experienced team members to lean on for support.
