Salisbury Medical Centre is an independent family practice, located in Salisbury in the southern suburbs of Brisbane. We pride ourselves on patient care and providing a work place that supports our employees.

We are looking for a registered nurse to join our care team. For the right person we are negotiable with approximately 3 to 4 days work. Initial contract would be casual with the opportunity to change to permanent part-time. Work hours are rostered between 7.30am to 6pm from Monday to Friday with a rotational roster for Saturday 8am-12pm. Consideration will be given to your personal commitments.

Time would be split between our treatment room and our nurse led Chronic Condition Management clinic. Experience in CCM would be highly valued but not essential, as training will be provided.

The role:

· Assisting the Doctors with dressings, excisions & vaccinations

· Following up patient recalls and results

· Pre-employment medicals - includes: Spirometry, Audio & IUDS

· Immunisations

· Triage of patients in the practice and over the phone

· ECG's

· Preparing CCM plans and Health Assessments

· Best Practice knowledge will be an advantage
