About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll be responsible for:

Leading and supporting the Finance Team across accounts payable, receivable, and bookkeeping

1-2 years of people management experience is required for this leadership position

Preparing monthly financial and board reports, budgets, and statutory returns

Contributing to year-end financial reporting, audits, and compliance requirements

Partnering with senior management on financial insights, cost analysis and investment decisions

Driving continuous improvement in financial controls, processes and reporting

What We're Looking For

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

A tertiary qualification in Accounting and CPA (or equivalent) membership or eligibility

Current CPA membership is required at the time of application

Strong experience in financial accounting, reporting and compliance

A minimum of 3-5 years of financial accounting experience is required

Exposure to large ERP systems such as SAP

Solid understanding of Australian accounting standards and taxation requirements

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail

A collaborative, team-focused approach and the ability to lead and mentor others
