An exciting opportunity has become available for a New Construction Maintenance Carpenter/Manager to join the team at Stroud Homes Brisbane East. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of new home constructions in the Rochedale QLD 4123 area.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on new home constructions to ensure they meet quality standards

Manage a team of carpenters and tradespeople to efficiently complete maintenance tasks

Liaise with homeowners to address any concerns or issues that arise during the maintenance process

Oversee the procurement of materials and tools required for maintenance work

Implement safety protocols and ensure all work is completed in a safe and compliant manner

Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a carpenter or in a construction maintenance role

Strong leadership and management skills to effectively coordinate a team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Thorough knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety practices

Strong communication skills to liaise with homeowners and stakeholders
