About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team at the Little Pioneers Early Learning Centre in Forster, NSW as an Educational Leader of a 27 place centre. This is a full-time or part-time role, offering a flexible work arrangement to suit your needs. As the Educational Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum and supporting our passionate team of educators to deliver exceptional early childhood education and care.

What you'll be doing

Providing educational leadership, mentoring and guidance to the teaching team to ensure the consistent implementation of the approved learning framework

Overseeing the development, implementation and evaluation of the educational program to meet the needs, interests and abilities of all children

Collaborating with the teaching team to observe, document and assess children's learning and development

Fostering strong relationships with families and the local community to ensure a holistic approach to each child's learning journey

Maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and the centre's policies and procedures

Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification approved by ACECQA

Extensive experience as an Early Childhood Teacher, ideally with previous leadership or mentoring experience

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and the team

Passion for creating engaging, play-based learning environments that support children's holistic development

Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional learning and improvement

Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
