About the Role – Lead Educator, Nursery Room (6 weeks to 2 years):

As the Nursery Room Lead, you will:

Create a safe, responsive, and nurturing environment for our youngest children

Design and implement a developmentally appropriate program based on individual routines, emerging interests, and strong attachments

Build trusting relationships with babies, families, and your team

Foster early learning through play, exploration, and connection

Be a calm, confident leader and mentor within your room team

Role Requirements:

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Current Blue Card and National Police Check

Experience working with infants and toddlers (6 weeks to 2 years)

A solid understanding of infant development and the importance of responsive caregiving

Familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

Previous experience as a Lead Educator (particularly with nursery-aged children) is highly regarded
