Embroidery Machine Operator (Located in Murarrie but moving to Mansfield in late October)

We are a fast-growing eCommerce business looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team. This casual role offers consistent hours of 37 per week, Monday to Friday (8am–4pm), with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position after 6 months.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where working efficiently and with high attention to detail is essential. You’ll spend approximately 75% of your time operating an embroidery machine and 25% packing orders and assisting with related tasks. The position requires being on your feet for most of the day.

Full training will be provided for the right applicant, so no prior embroidery experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

Operate embroidery machines (training provided).

Assist with basic sewing tasks (no prior sewing experience required).

Pack and prepare embroidered garments for shipping.

Conduct quality checks on items before packing.

Process customer orders through our software.

Unpack and inspect incoming supplier orders.

Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills & Attributes

Energetic, motivated, and able to thrive in a busy environment.

Strong attention to detail, particularly in spotting small stitching errors.

Good computer literacy with the ability to learn new software.

Ability to work independently and remain focused.

Comfortable standing for extended periods of time throughout the day.

Capable of working quickly and efficiently to meet daily order deadlines.
