As a Technical Specialist (MOE), you will join a skilled technical team tasked with managing and supporting the organisation's Enterprise Windows Managed Operating Environment (MOE) and Modern Workplace technology. Collaborating with various clients and business units across the organisation, you will contribute to the design and implementation of modern end-user computing and workplace technology solutions while ensuring the ongoing maintenance of existing systems.
Your Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
• Manage and support a modern enterprise Windows platform using tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, Windows 11, Windows 365 and Microsoft 365.
• Package, install, upgrade, and decommission applications using formats like MSI, MSIX and AppX.
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and quality assurance for Enterprise Windows MOE deployment using an evergreen methodology.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures in line with industry standards.
• Use performance monitoring tools like Intune and Aternity to optimise system performance and support capacity planning.
• Perform Incident, Problem, Release, Configuration, and Change management activities in alignment with ITILv4 methodologies.
What You'll Bring:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
• Proven experience in managing modern endpoint solutions across cloud and onpremises environments, including Microsoft Intune, Windows 11, and Windows 365 Cloud PC.
• Expertise in application packaging and virtualisation using formats such as MSI, MSIX and AppX.
• A foundation qualification in ITILv4 methodology and experience in Modern Desktop Management and Evergreen IT (highly desirable).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and non-technical manner.
• A proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing effective solutions.
