GreenTec Group (GreenTec Consulting & Sigma Geo Environment) is a specialist consulting firm based in Brisbane and are currently looking to grow our Brisbane team with exciting design and construction projects located Australia wide. Due to growth and a strong project pipeline of work we are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer with either Civil and or Geotechnical experience and qualifications.

Working as part of a multi disciplinary team, the role will see you involved in Senior Engineering functions from design, modelling, deliverable development, construction management and planning support as well maintaining client relationships, developing new business and providing mentoring to junior staff.

We aren’t your typical consultancy, although our outputs may be the same quality as large consulting firms, our aim is to provide practical advice and innovative solutions for our clients guiding them through approvals, to construction and operations through closure and rehabilitation or landfill, mining and CSG projects. The Role:

Working as part of a collaborative team you will be involved with:

Providing practical design and construction support in a timely manner for landfill, stormwater, mining and CSG (large earthworks structures).

Design, coordination and project management of projects, from feasibility through to construction.

Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.

Complete, review and approve civil engineering designs, specifications, and reports.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

Participate in project management activities, including progress tracking, financial management, and risk management.

Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentation.

About you:

Bachelors degree in Civil OR Geotechnical engineering

Ideally you will be registered as RPEQ (Civil/Geotechnical) OR working towards this certification.

Minimum 6 years experience in engineering sector within Australia.

Previous or current experience within an engineering consultancy would be high advantageous.

This role will primarily be office based, but there may still be some travel required.

A positive can-do attitude and team player.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in landfill engineering and dam engineering would be advantageous.

Strong attention to detail, able to make decisions quickly and able to work in a fast-paced environment efficiently.
