The Kahani Indian Restaurant is seeking an enthusiastic & experienced Indian Cuisine Chef to join the fantastic team.

We require an Indian Chef with a professional and committed approach, who enjoys working in a dynamic and productive team environment. The successful applicant will have extensive experience in preparing & cooking authentic Indian Food.

Qualifications & experience

Cert iii or cert iv in commercial cookery

Must have relevant 2 years work experience in High paced environment.

Tasks & responsibilities

Monitoring quality of dishes, preparation and presentation

Discussing food preparation issues with Head chef, kitchen and waiting staff

Ordering of Stock

Have the interest in quality produce and menu ideas.

Be fast, efficient and work able to work well under pressure

Have effective communication skills

Work within the requirements of food safety, food handling as required
