Your new role
Reporting to the production supervisor, this position would have you joining a team of skilled plant operators and production operators who are responsible for ensuring production is running efficiently at all times. Work hours are Monday to Friday 6AM - 6PM. Day-to-day duties will include, however not limited to:

• Loading grain commodities in bulk and bags
• Collecting samples
• Maintaining and keeping the plant, the equipment, the building and the yards clean and tidy
• Emptying and cleaning malt and barley storage silos as required
• Conducting routine stock takes
• Monitoring daily gas, electricity & water usage
• Providing support to plant operators
• Providing guidance, training and direction for casual staff engagement to carry out plant activities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 1+ years' experience as a production operator or something similar.
• You will be reliable and have a good attitude towards working
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
• Drive, passion and dedication to achieve results
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
• Happy working 12H shifts
