About the role

We are seeking an experienced Laser Machine Operator to join our team at Beam-X Laser Pty Ltd in Sunshine West, Victoria. This is a full-time role that involves operating and maintaining high-precision laser cutting and brake press equipment to support our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

Setting up, programming, and operating laser cutting and press machines to produce parts and components to specific requirements

Performing regular maintenance and quality checks on the equipment to ensure optimal performance

Monitoring production processes, identifying and resolving any issues that arise

Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

Collaborating with the wider production team to deliver projects on time and to the required standards

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years proven experience as a Fiber Laser Machine operator

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Proficient in the use of laser cutting and brake press, as well as other manufacturing tools and machinery

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards

Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues

Certification in laser safety or a willingness to undertake relevant training

Must have legal right to work in Australia
