We are looking for a highly motivated machine operator / yard hand, to actively work as part of a team in achieving the overall objectives and targets of the production facility.

Role
In your role as a machine operator / yard hand, you will be provided all the training and exposure necessary to successfully work across various areas across the site. You will be responsible for setting up and operating the blending plant, measuring and mixing raw materials, inspecting and ensuring the quality of finished goods, as well as upkeep and housekeeping of the site.

You will be provided training and exposure to (but not limited to)

Machine Operation (Front End Loader, Excavator)

Use of hand and air tools

Using a forklift to load and unload trucks/containers

Driving a truck to pick up and deliver

Exposure to each stage of the production - mixing, blending, and storing processes as well as general plant operation

Manual handling

Manage Inbound and Outbound of Raw Material

Requirements
The successful candidate will need:

Current Drivers license and own reliable transportation (essential)

Current High-Risk forklift license (essential)

Current HR Truck license (essential)

Experience on a Front Loader and/or excavator (essential)

Experience working in a factory/manufacturing process environment

Understanding of Workplace OH&S in a Factory/manufacturing environment

Physically fit and able to work autonomously when required

A keen eye for detail to be able to perform accurate quality checks and measurements
