About the Role
This is a rare leadership opportunity to guide Engineering, Fabrication and Locksmithing programs across multiple campuses. You’ll lead and support a dedicated teaching team, drive innovation in delivery, and ensure programs remain relevant, compliant, and future-focused – shaping great outcomes for both students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Provide academic and educational leadership across Engineering, Fabrication and Locksmithing
Coordinate timetables, workloads, and resources to ensure smooth delivery
Support and develop staff to build strong, cohesive teams
Oversee compliance with Training & Assessment Strategies (TAS) and audit requirements
Strengthen industry connections and validate programs for workforce needs
Monitor budgets and contribute to long-term planning
Drive continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes for students
Skills and Experience Required
You’re an experienced VET educator and leader who thrives on collaboration and impact. You’ll bring:
A trade qualification in Engineering, Fabrication or Locksmithing
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
Proven experience in vocational education, with leadership or coordination responsibilities
Strong knowledge of RTO compliance and vocational education policy
Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and support teaching teams
Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
A National Police Check
