Join a multi-award-winning Melbourne design studio with almost 20 years of expertise across renovations, extensions, and new builds. This mid-level role is ideal for an interior designer with around 3 years of experience, strong technical skills, and a flair for creating functional yet inspiring spaces. You’ll work closely with directors and senior designers, contributing to projects from concept through to completion using Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Key Responsibilities

Translate client briefs into clear and engaging layouts, mood boards, and 3D visualisations

Prepare detailed documentation in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp for planning and construction stages

Support the design team across all project phases, from early concepts through to approvals

Research, specify, and coordinate finishes, fixtures, and materials

Collaborate with consultants and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery

Contribute to maintaining the studio’s reputation for high-quality, bespoke design solutions

Skills and Experience

3 years’ experience in an interior design role, ideally with exposure to residential projects

Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential

Strong eye for detail and a balance of creative flair with practical application

Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence working directly with clients

Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks, and adapt to a variety of project types

A portfolio that demonstrates both design sensibility and technical competence
