About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Housing Operations Manager to lead tenancy and property management operations. Reporting to the CEO, you will ensure compliance with legislation, manage housing operations, and provide strategic advice to the Board. This role also supervises the Housing Operations Officer and requires occasional regional travel.

Murchison Region Aboriginal Corporation (MRAC) is a member-based, not-for-profit organisation providing quality, secure housing for Aboriginal people across the Midwest and Gascoyne regions. We own and manage 116 residential properties and reinvest all rental income into improving housing outcomes for our community.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee tenancy and property management, including arrears and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act 1987 (WA) and MRAC policies.
• Prepare reports and housing data for the CEO and Board.
• Lead and support the Housing Operations Officer.
• Drive quality, risk management, and WHS initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications in Social Housing, Community Services, or Property Management (or 5+ years’ experience).
Strong knowledge of tenancy legislation and housing operations.
Experience working with Aboriginal communities.
Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
WA Driver’s License and ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
What We Offer
Salary: $108,654 – $122,441 p.a. (Level 6/7) + salary sacrificing of up to $16,000 annually.
Contemporary working condition as per Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (MA000100).
