About the Role
In this newly created role, you will oversee a team of four within the Shared Services function. This is a pivotal role that brings together finance, operations, administration, and people leadership to ensure seamless processes across the business. You'll be the go-to person for issues, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration within the team across admin and finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of four within Shared Services.
- Oversee end-to-end finance operations including cash flow, corporate entries, and reconciliations.
- Handle any issues and discrepancies with a solutions-focused approach.
- Assist with various audits and projects as required.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency across administration and finance.
- Continuous improvement of systems and processes in collaboration with the senior management team.
About You
We're looking for a proactive and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to give direction whilst also taking it. You'll bring strong financial and operational expertise along with a collaborative leadership style and ability to motivate and engage teams.
You will have:
- Proven experience in a finance, operations, or shared services environment.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- A passion for quality and continuous improvement.
