The role

We’re the regulator for NSW Planning’s projects of state significance—and as a Compliance Officer, you’ll be right at the heart of it. You’ll carry out site inspections, review audit, monitoring and other post-approval reports, and conduct investigations as required. It’s about making sure planning conditions are complied with, and environmental standards are upheld.

You’ll be juggling competing priorities and navigating complex, high-profile issues—often under pressure and in the public eye. That means translating information into clear advice, conducting investigations with confidence, and helping improve how we work. It’s fast-paced, strategic, and makes a real impact.
