Mount St Benedict College, is a girls high school established by the Sisters of Good Samaritan Education with a community of ten schools across Australia. The Learning Analytics Officer is a project position as part of a classroom teaching role with the aim to identify, monitor, collect, analyse and report on data relating to the student performance and wellbeing and undertake assist the Teaching and Learning Team to use this data to make informed decisions about the effectiveness of current strategies and data informed decisions moving forward. This is part of a full time classroom teaching load and is a project position.
ESSENTIAL
• Relevant teaching qualifications and experience
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting Catholic Good Samaritan values
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven capacity to understand, engage and communicate with staff
• Proven attention to detail and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Demonstrated ability to document, implement and monitor log and short-term strategic goals and plans in area of responsibility
• A highly motivated with the ability to seek out solutions and pro-actively problem solve
• Ability to demonstrate professional conduct and discretion at all times
• Ability to balance competing priorities and work collaboratively with colleagues
• High level IT skills including use of the Microsoft suite and a database system
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
DESIRABLE
• Demonstrate an understanding of the charism of Good Samaritan Education as articulated in the Good Samaritan Schools Teaching and Learning Framework and the Good Samaritan Schools Mission Framework
• Have a proven ability to work in a collaborative educational environment
