THE COMPANY
Family owned and operated since 1958, this manufacturing business is one of the largest and most experienced powder coating & industrial paint operators in Australia. With multiple production lines operating powder coating and liquid paint systems, they are the leading “one-stop shop” for all architectural, industrial and domestic applications.
As the accredited coater of choice for our customers, this important role is responsible for the performance of all factory production at our Chipping Norton (NSW) facility to produce quality work including responsibility for:
- Safety & Environment
- Performance and supervision of workers
- Controlling work in progress,
- Implementation of efficient work practices to optimise factory performance
- Manage chemical pre-treatment systems
- Operating plant and equipment settings
- Managing consumables and packing
THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Scheduler / Customer Services Coordinator to work withing our CST Team. This role oversees the scheduling of production orders, client communications, and internal workflows to ensure efficiency and timely delivery of services. You’ll drive the team to meet KPIs, improve processes, and maintain excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities may include:
- Manage the Scheduling and CST, ensuring clear communication, task ownership, and team performance.
- Own production scheduling, prioritising express jobs and optimising workflow.
- Communicate ETAs to clients and ensure timely updates throughout the production process.
- Oversee job intake and ensure job cards are processed efficiently.
- Collaborate with Sales, Factory, and Stores teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure CST and Scheduling KPIs are met.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- Proven leadership experience in customer service and production environments preferably with scheduling.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Experience with scheduling systems and internal production processes is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in meeting KPIs.
- A commitment to ongoing training and development
- Customer service focus, with the ability to manage enquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and build strong client relationships.
- Sound computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Familiarity with WHS and quality compliance requirements, ensuring all activities meet safety and regulatory standards.
