About the role

KIDZ R KIDZ EARLY LEARNING CENTRE is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef - School Hours to join their team in Cranbourne North, VIC. This part-time role is perfect for someone looking to balance their work and personal life, with school hours Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook healthy, nutritious meals for the children attending the early learning centre licensed for 47 children.

Ensure all meals meet relevant dietary requirements and follow the centre's menu

Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment

Assist with menu planning and food ordering as required

Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

Formal culinary qualification or equivalent experience as a chef

Experience working in a commercial kitchen, ideally within the early childhood education sector

Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work on their own on the kitchen.

Passion for providing high-quality, nutritious meals for children
