The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst with strong energy sector experience, particularly in metering and metering connection testing. This role involves hands-on testing across integrated systems in a multi-party energy environment, ensuring quality delivery in a critical metering program.

Must be able to attend the Melbourne CBD office 2-3 days per week. Unfortunately sponsorship is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead testing across energy and metering systems, with a focus on metering connection scenarios.
• Conduct end-to-end system integration testing across platforms such as SAP-ISU, IEE/MTS, UIQ/SIQ
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including metering service providers
• Apply structured test processes in a primarily waterfall delivery environment
• Manage defect triage, issue tracking, and test reporting across the project lifecycle
• Ensure full traceability between business requirements and test coverage

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience in testing within the regulated energy or utilities sector, with a strong focus on metering.

You will also have:

• Demonstrated experience in metering-related testing, particularly metering connection workflows
• Familiarity with metering providers or platforms, such as Itron, Intellihub, or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with SAP-ISU, IEE/MTS, and multi-party systems like UIQ/SIQ
• Strong understanding of metering-customer system integrations
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
• Experience working in waterfall delivery models and following formal test lifecycle methodologies
• A proactive mindset with the ability to challenge processes and drive quality outcomes
