Job Description
About The Role
As a Home Care Scheduling Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our Home Care programs. You'll work within our administration team to schedule in-home visits that align with client preferences and match them with their preferred Home Care Support Worker.
You will be the friendly first point of contact for clients, families, and those enquiring about our services. This is a role for someone who loves working with people, is great with systems, and has a keen eye for detail.
Salary
Salary is dependent upon the person's experience and qualification.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate client visits, ensuring preferred times and carers are matched wherever possible
Provide high-quality reception and customer service to clients, families, and visitors
Support rostering and payroll processing, including approved leave
Maintain client records, admissions, discharges, and data entry across systems
Assist with meetings, events, and general office administration
Manage office supplies and equipment as needed
Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and contribute to a positive team culture
Desired Skills and ExperienceEssential Skills & Experience
Strong administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational and time management skills
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
Strong focus on customer service and client experience
Experience with data entry, record keeping, and reconciliation
Desirable
Experience in aged care, healthcare, or community services
Knowledge of scheduling and rostering systems
Qualifications in business or administration
