About the Role

Begin your shift at our Newport, Geelong or Yarra Valley base in Victoria

Support balloon operations across Melbourne (City), Geelong and the Yarra Valley — being available to work across all locations is ideal

Greet passengers on arrival and complete check-in procedures

Handle balloon inflation, deflation, and ground operations

Keep equipment and vehicles clean and organised

Safely tow trailers with 4WD or minibuses (LR licence required — training to obtain this can be provided for the right candidate)

Important Note

Ballooning is weather-dependent, and we work around changing conditions. Flexibility and adaptability are essential parts of this role.

Requirements

Light Rigid (LR) driver's licence is required — training to obtain this can be provided for the right candidate

Very early start—approximately 2.5 hours before sunrise, including weekends

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Availability for early mornings and weekends

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ideal for physically fit retirees, those with flexible working hours or someone currently studying who is looking for seasonal work

Position Details

📆 Seasonal starting at the beginning of November, with the option for some ongoing work during winter

⏳ Shifts approximately 7–8 hours long
