Hot Savouries Catering Assistant

We’re looking for a hands-on kitchen assistant to join our Hot Savouries team. This role suits someone with solid kitchen experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
About the role
You’ll be part of the team responsible for producing and preparing our hot savoury range, including:
Batch cooking using a deep fryer
High-volume prep work (e.g. making sausage rolls, pastries and other savoury items)
Assembling and plating client orders for delivery
What we’re looking for
Previous kitchen experience in a catering, commercial kitchen or bakery setting
Confidence using a deep fryer and working safely with hot oil
Ability to work efficiently with high-volume prep and repetitive tasks
Strong attention to detail when assembling and plattering orders
A team player with a positive attitude
Role details
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
Pay: HIGA Level 2, casual rates apply
