The Role
Working from our Devonport Campus, you will be teaching future and current support workers and will shape the skills of Support Professionals in Disability & Aged Care. You will lead essential lessons, assess student progress, and inspire continuous improvement. Dive into a role where innovation, collaboration, and empowerment of students are key, enabling them to make a significant impact in their communities.
On any given day, your duties will include:
- Develop and oversee teaching materials, resources, and equipment.
- Empowering students in their transition from campus to community
- Undertake training to ensure you are continuously evolving with your students.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Design and deliver engaging lessons.
What you will bring
- Minimum of five years within the Aged Care, Health or Disability industry; with experience in direct support roles, Management, and Co-ordination highly regarded.
- Certificate III or higher in either Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or Nursing.
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
A current Working with Vulnerable People registration is required, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
