The People Project Tasmania (TPPT) is a not-for-profit organisation and one of seven government-funded Rural Workforce Agencies (RWAs) nationally. We are dedicated to supporting Tasmanian communities by recruiting and retaining quality health professionals, and by delivering support coordination, plan management, and capacity-building services to NDIS participants across the state. With expert teams, a positive culture, and a practical, person-centred approach, we’re committed to strengthening both Tasmania’s health workforce and the lives of people with disability.

We are seeking an experienced Support Coordinator (CoS) to join our NDIS Support Coordination team in our Launceston Office.

The Position

Do you love building relationships and dealing with a broad range of stakeholders, all while genuinely enjoying every day you are at work?

The People Project is seeking a “Support Coordination Extraordinaire” to fulfil this full-time position within its NDIS program. You will be joining an experienced team and will hit the ground running with an existing case load and the opportunity to take on additional referrals.

What we need from you is your exceptional skills in multi-tasking, along with the ability to provide assistance to NDIS participants and their support networks. You will be required to develop and maintain relationships with other NDIS service providers in the region and mainstream providers across the sector. What would be even better is if you already have these networks!

Your workload will be diverse, and you will be supported with excellent professional development opportunities. Your attention to detail and understanding of the importance of case notes and record keeping will be vital to your success.

The standard here at The People Project has been set high! If you are as good as you claim to be, in return you will be rewarded with variety, meaningful work, a great team and lots of laughs!

This position is a Risk-Assessed role under the NDIS guidelines and will require a NDIS endorsement to be applied to your WWVP Clearance prior to the commencement of employment.
