Salary: $76,750 - $79,000 per year + Superannuation

The Opportunity

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Aged & Disability Care Worker to join our dedicated team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this rewarding role, you will be instrumental in providing a range of support services to aged and disabled individuals in their own homes and in the community. Key Responsibilities

Your duties will be diverse and centred around the needs of our clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Providing essential support and companionship to elderly and disabled individuals during their daily activities.

● Aiding clients to enhance their mobility and navigate their environment safely.

● Creating and preparing nutritious meals that cater to specific dietary needs and preferences.

● Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing, ensuring comfort and well-being.

● Performing various domestic chores such as vacuuming, cleaning, and general tidying to maintain a clean and safe living space.

● Offering companionship, friendship, and crucial emotional support to promote mental health and overall well-being.

● Organizing and coordinating social activities and community events to foster engagement and social interaction.

● Assisting with shopping, running errands, and other necessary tasks on behalf of the client.

About You (Qualifications & Experience)

To be successful in this role, you will be a reliable, qualified, and empathetic individual with a genuine passion for helping others.

Essential Qualifications & Checks:

● Minimum of an AQF Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability), Aged Care, Community Services, or a related field.

● A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.

● A valid Working with Children's Check.

● Must hold a valid visa with full working rights in Australia.

● A valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Experience & Skills:

● At least 1-2 years of demonstrated experience as an Aged & Disability Care Worker.

● A friendly, positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with clients and their families.

● Must be well-groomed and well-presented.

● Proven reliability with strong professional references.

● Must be prepared for an immediate start and to live and work in Victoria.
