About the role

Come and join our passionate team at The Gardeners Nursery in Anketell, Western Australia! We are seeking a Casual/ part tine or full time Retail Nursery Assistant to provide exceptional customer service and support the efficient operations of our thriving nursery business. In this varied and hands-on role, you will play a crucial part in helping our customers find the perfect plants and gardening products to bring their outdoor spaces to life.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, advising on plant selection, care and use

Maintaining neat, tidy and visually appealing displays of plants, flowers and garden products

Assisting with receiving, unpacking and restocking of deliveries

Helping with general nursery tasks such as watering, pruning and cleaning

Accurately processing sales transactions and operating the point-of-sale system

Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting your colleagues as needed

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, ideally within the gardening/horticulture industry

Strong plant knowledge and a passion for providing exceptional customer service

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of customers

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment

Enthusiasm for gardening, plants and creating beautiful outdoor spaces

Flexibility to work a range of casual/ part-time or full time shifts, (including saturday preferred.)
