Autoworks Mount Thorley is a locally owned business based in Mt Thorley NSW working in conjunction with Weldtech Engineering. We offer a wide range of services from light vehicle repairs and maintenance, logbook / fleet servicing, labour hire, field service maintenance / breakdowns, rebuilds, fabrication and in-house works at our facilities operating at 24-30 Woodlands Rd Mt Thorley.

Autoworks LV Workshop includes 5x 2 post hoists and 1x 4 post hoist, wheel alignment machine and the latest tooling and software for technician ease.

About the role

We are seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics / Light Vehicle Mechanics to join our growing team based at our workshop in Mt Thorley (10 mins from Singleton). Working on a wide variety of light vehicles, trucks and small plant. The successful applicants will have previous experience in similar roles and be a self starter. Autoworks workshop takes on a wide variety of work however is primarily 4x4 based.

Previous experience in a similar role

Diagnostic experience

Self starter and ability to work as part of a team

Valid drivers license

Must be able to follow all WH&S procedures and have the ability to work safely

Must be an Australian citizen / resident

Previous experience with breakdowns

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

High risk work license / training (forklift)

Light vehicle AIS examiner certificate

Qualified A/C technician

Qualified Auto Electrician

Truck licence

Labour hire / recruiters not required
