About the role

Vivid Stoneworks is seeking a skilled and experienced stone FABRICATOR to join our team in Thornton, NSW. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for the precise and professional fabrication of high-quality stone bench tops/splash backs in residential and commercial properties across the local area. Making use of the latest technologies, systems and efficiencies, we strive for accuracy, quality and unbeatable workmanship.

What you'll be doing

Read and interpret technical drawings

Handling/shaping/gluing up stone to exacting specifications

Polishing, edges of stone

Assisting of unloading trucks with a forklift

Troubleshoot and resolve any challenges that may arise on site

Maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail throughout each job

Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy, and that all tools and equipment are well-maintained

Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in the stone industry

Proficient in the use of power tools and other equipment

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
