Registered Nurse – Full Time

Pinaroo Roma Inc. is a not-for-profit Aged Care Facility situated in Roma, Queensland. We are currently a 71 bed facility and we are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a Full Time Basis, working 76 hours per fortnight.

We seek a dedicated nurse who can demonstrate evidence through interview that they have researched Pinaroo Roma Inc. and our values and show an understanding of aged care systems in Australia.

Essential Criteria

Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Registered Nurses with all levels of aged care experience are encouraged to apply

Minimum of 1+ years of nursing experience is required for this role

Flexible outlook towards working shifts and availability to work morning, afternoon and night shifts

Ability to pass a current national police clearance

Residency and permission to work in Australia – Sponsorship available for the successful applicant

Clinical skills and knowledge in the completion of clinical documentation

An ability to inspire staff around you and possession of leadership qualities

Team lead experience is required to demonstrate leadership capabilities

Knowledge of accreditation is desirable and would be an advantage

You will be required to assess, plan, implement, evaluate and deliver care for residents.

A genuine passion for helping and caring for others

You must be a team player and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent time management skills and a commitment to continuous improvement

Demonstrated ability to operate independently and professionally

A capacity to manage a diverse and demanding workload

Previous Experience in Aged Care is highly desirable

Previous aged care experience is required for this position

Remuneration as per Nurses Award 2010 ranging between $80,000 - $100,000.00 per annum with allowances plus superannuation. Depending on skills, knowledge and experience.
