Clarity Partners is partnering with a leading independent power producer that specialises in delivering reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective energy solutions to remote and industrial operations across Australia.
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the Projects team in Perth. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the design, installation, and maintenance of power stations and supporting facilities, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performing energy solutions. You’ll provide technical expertise, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and contribute to long-term improvement opportunities across new and existing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver mechanical engineering design and documentation, ensuring compliance with Australian standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Provide technical input for the design and development of new power stations and associated facilities.
- Support clients with the installation of generators and equipment on remote sites.
- Monitor and improve site processes, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Select, procure, and oversee the installation of mechanical equipment.
- Provide operational advice for long-term maintenance and performance optimisation.
Qualifications: What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (suitable for Engineers Australia membership).
- Knowledge of fuel gas systems, compressed air, pumping and filtration, and engine systems.
- 3+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering within a commercial environment.
- Proficiency in CAD design (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MicroStation).
- Strong understanding of HSE systems and safety standards.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Ability to work on remote site projects when required.
- Current WA ‘C’ class driver’s licence.
- National Police Certificate and Medical Clearance.
Desirable:
- Chartered status with Engineers Australia.
- Experience with the Pronto ERP system.
- White card certification.
