We are currently seeking an experienced Systems Specialist and Support Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

Are you skilled at analysing market data and shaping competitive customer pricing strategies? Join our dynamic team at Cahill as a Commercial Analyst. In this role, you will apply statistical analysis, industry knowledge, and data-driven insights to design pricing models that strengthen our market position and ensure we remain ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and refine the company’s costing and pricing model by analysing, organising, and managing data.

Respond to daily pricing requests, ensuring competitive rates based on modelling and market intelligence.

Prepare quarterly business reports and insights to advise commercial teams on forecasts and priorities for both external customers and internal stakeholders.

Review and analyse economic, business, and market data for leadership presentations.

Model various scenarios to identify opportunities for improved performance.

Generate reliable forecast reports based on historical performance and market needs to inform commercial strategies.

Establish and maintain a library of sales frameworks, tools, and statistical information for state teams.

Manage confidential information and data to produce intelligence-driven insights for business planning sessions.

Review and recommend implementation plans for the business’s organisational structures to achieve commercial goals.

Procure pricing from agency and subcontractor service providers.

Ensure rate tables are updated across our IT pricing platforms.

Perform any additional tasks related to the role of Commercial Analyst.

Requirements

Strong analytical skills with proven experience in market pricing intelligence.

Proficiency in statistical analysis and data management tools.

Ability to provide insights on sales forecasts and commercial strategies.

Excellent organisational and data management skills.

Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience (additional experience highly regarded).

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Law, Business, Accounting, Logistics, or a related field.
