Prolux work with some of the biggest brands and most innovative companies across Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

Our core focus is managing and executing Electrical PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) to avoid costly breakdowns and keep properties safe. Associated repairs, upgrades and projects that eventuate from the PPM all form part of our core delivery.

Beyond PPM, we specialise in building infrastructure upgrades, office and warehouse fitouts, capital works projects, lighting control and building automation systems and technical services across a national portfolio.

What you will be doing as part of the role:

As a Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of delivering electrical projects from quoting through to completion. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring jobs are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard.

You will:

Manage multiple projects and associated contractors simultaneously.

Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.

Provide leadership to site teams and foster a culture of collaboration.

Be the key client contact for projects, ensuring clear communication and service excellence.

Work alongside our Project Coordinators to ensure seamless project administration.

The role is dynamic and fast-paced, offering exposure to both small and medium-scale projects across a diverse property portfolio.

A day in the life of a Prolux Project Manager:

No two days will look the same. You might be:

Walking a site with a Facility Manager to scope an upcoming upgrade.

Reviewing project budgets, schedules and compliance documentation.

Authorising project budgets and ensuring accurate invoice completion.

Coordinating electricians and specialist contractors to deliver a shutdown.

Meeting with a client to handover a successfully completed project.

Collaborating with our national team to bring innovative, sustainable solutions to life.

What we would like from you:

Previous Project Management experience in the electrical or facilities sector.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset – you rise to challenges and remain calm under pressure.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Confidence leading teams and coordinating subcontractors.
