About the Position
The Principal Portfolio Officer roles (two positions available: one 12-month contract and one 6-month contract) provide a key opportunity to support strategic financial management within a State Government department. These positions focus on budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting for major development and infrastructure programs, enabling effective resource planning and governance across high-impact projects.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate budget submissions
- Manage funding, cash flow, and debt facilities
- Develop financial models and forecasts
- Contribute to business case reviews
- Prepare financial performance reports
Requirements/Skills
- TriData budget submission experience
- Strong financial analysis and modelling
- Experience with SAP and Power BI
- CPA or CA qualification (desirable)
- Government funding program experience
