Mercure Cairns is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Night Auditor to join our friendly Front Office Team.

About the Role

As our Night Auditor, you will:

Reception Desk Management: Oversee guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift.

Night Audit & Reporting: Process the nightly audit and generate reports to ensure accurate financial records.

Security Monitoring: Assist in monitoring building security to ensure guest safety.

Operational Support: Aid the day team in operations to maintain exceptional service standards.

Shift Timing: Work from 11 PM to 7 AM, accommodating the unique needs of night-time guests.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess:

Self-Starter Attitude: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Customer Service Focus: A positive attitude and genuine commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.

Hotel Experience: Experience in a similar role

Technical Proficiency: Experience with property management systems like Protel is highly regarded.

Attention to Detail: Strong organizational, written, and communication skills.

Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and evenings across a 7-day roster.
