About the role

We are seeking a full-time Vehicle Body Assembler / Accessories Fitter to join the team at Ridgeback Service Bodies in Mordialloc, VIC. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting a range of vehicle accessories to ensure our customers' vehicles are customised to their exact specifications.

What you'll be doing

• Assembling and fitting predominantly service bodies and also vehicle accessories such as tow bars, roof racks, side steps, and other aftermarket products
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation
• Performing quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Collaborating with the wider team to deliver exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Body Assembler or similar role within the automotive industry
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and instructions
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• A valid driver's license
