Level 2 Service Desk | Onsite Client-Facing Role

  • Sydney
  • $70–95k Plus Super (based on experience)

Harvey Robinson is exclusively partnering with a growing MSP to support one of their financial services clients as an approachable & people-focused IT Support Engineer. This role offers a mix of Level 1 & Level 2 support, direct customer interaction and real problem-solving, not just a “log and flog” role.

This Would Suit

  • Someone currently in an MSP in L2 Service Desk support, OR
  • Someone currently in a financial services internal helpdesk/EU support role, acting as the hands and feet of L3 engineers

The Role

  • Microsoft 365, Teams, Windows Server, Windows 10/11
  • Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy
  • Intune, Endpoint Management, and other modern platforms
  • Financial services-specific applications
  • Provide Level 1 & 2 onsite support with a focus on supporting a financial services client in Sydney (amongst others)
  • Act as point of contact for users, taking escalated calls from L1
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical issues where necessary
  • Build strong relationships with users through clear communication and approachability

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in either an MSP (L1/L2) OR internal helpdesk within financial services
  • Strong communication and customer service skills; approachable, friendly, and a good listener
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with ability to take ownership of issues
  • Technical capability across the Microsoft stack (O365, Azure, AD, Windows Server)
  • Australian PR or Citizenship required – ESSENTIAL
