DENTAL ASSISTANT - 12 MONTH MATERNITY CONTRACT

IWC seeks a part-time Dental Assistant (40-42 hrs/fortnight) to work across all areas of our accredited Dental Service.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

IWC have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Assistant to join their team.
The Dental Assistant may also be required to cover Reception duties and Sterilization as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient care and management.

High standards of infection control.

Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment.

Process and organize lab jobs and x-rays.

Previous experience in a dental practice environment is essential.

Proficient in keyboard skills and basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel and at least one Dental software program.

High level of confidentiality.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Certificate III in Dental Assisting is desired.

A current driver's licence is essential or ability to obtain.

A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.

A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain.

A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.

* No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work. IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate.

SALARY PACKAGE:

Your Salary Package is made up of the following: -

Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding approximately $2,000 to your take-home pay (available after completion of probation).

Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum (available after completion of probation).

Early finish on Fridays.

Superannuation valued at 12%.

Annual Leave Loading of 17.5%.
