We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. This position involves operating and maintaining gantry cranes and machinery used for bending steel in a fast-paced, diverse work environment. Day and afternoon shift available. Responsibilities:

Operate gantry cranes and machinery for bending steel, ensuring safety and accuracy.

Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and delays.

Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiencies and workflow.

Comply with all safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine performance and quality.

Document and report machine performance and any issues to the maintenance team.

Contribute to team meetings and provide feedback on process improvement.

Qualifications:

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, diverse environment.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including potential for overtime as required.

Day-to-Day:

Inspect and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal operation and adherence to high safety standards.

Operate and monitor gantry cranes and bending machines throughout the shift.

Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth execution of tasks.

Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge, with a strong emphasis on safety procedures.

Engage in routine machine maintenance and report on equipment status, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
